As I understand it, my darling boyfriend has directed folks from the Crushing Iron website over here to check out my recap of the Ironman Wisconsin experience. So that you don’t have to dig for the post, I thought I’d take the opportunity to share a couple more pictures from the race and give you this to take you directly there. This is mile 6 of the run and as you can see, K is flashing his thumbs up once again and Jim looks less than thrilled. I pretty much stopped taking pictures of him from here on out and focused on talking with him the few times I saw him after this. It’s hard to believe it has been almost a month since that adventure but this weekend, we tackle another one. K will be completing the Stump Jump 50K. This will be a much less stressful race to spectate so I’m looking forward to grabbing a few sandwiches to sustain me and enjoying some fine Kentucky bourbon. Consider it tailgating ultra style!
