I’ve been remiss about writing here for a while. All my words and ideas have been going into my novels.
I finished reading the entirety of The Vampire Chronicles and after all those months with the same characters, I have a sense of loss that there will be no more stories about Lestat and Louis.
I’m way over the yearly goal of words to write for my novels and crushing each monthly goal. I’m hoping my upcoming time bedridden will lead to some breakthroughs in the stories.
I’m having my first major surgery in a couple weeks. Hence the bedridden bit. I’m nervous but I’m also super stoked. This may be a game changer for me but at least it alleviates a lot of possible future issues.
Within the last couple weeks I learned my ex-father-in-law died and one of my cousins died today. Both of cancer. My heart is heavy.
