2019’s projects and adventures

For those who followed along on Instagram, 2018 was my year for wearing all my dresses and adding a few along the way. Since I had so much fun posting every week, this year will be a meal of the week, which means finding new recipes to prepare. Especially since 2018 could also be considered the year of eating out and eating unhealthy. Looking forward to changing that around by getting a new CSA and meal planning better. Expect recipes and pictures to be added here as I go along.

In addition to that new project, I’m planning my race schedule for the year. I ran the least I’ve run since getting serious back in 2007. This was due to a hip condition that remains painful and undiagnosed, with physical therapy producing no results. So I figure if I am going to be in pain anyway, may as well take back up my favorite activity, since rest also did nothing for my hip. Right now I expect to run a mountain half near home, head down to Santa Fe for a girls’ trip to Meow Wolf and tack on the Santa Fe Thunder half, and then I’ll run the Front Runners New York LGBT 5K in New York City in conjunction with my performance at Carnegie Hall with Denver Women’s Chorus. This adds two additional states in my quest to run all 50.

2019 has to be better than 2018 and by setting intentions for the year, I’m going to make it so.
